Moe Puppy, a D2C pet care brand, has secured ₹2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by PedalStart, with participation from Zindagi Live Angel Fund and other angel investors.
The fresh capital will be deployed towards marketing, R&D, supply chain optimisation, and selective hiring across growth, operations, and customer experience.
Founded in 2023 by Manish Paul and Himani Baisla, Moe Puppy is a premium D2C pet care brand focused on grooming and wellness solutions for dogs and cats. The brand offers products such as dry shampoo, anti-tick spray, ear cleansers, dental sprays, and paw balms, targeting modern Indian pet owners seeking science-backed and easy-to-use solutions.
The company operates through its own website, major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, quick commerce players including Blinkit and Zepto, as well as pet-focused platforms like Supertails.
Moe Puppy claims to have served over 1 lakh customers, achieved a repeat purchase rate of ~30%, and recorded 10x growth over the past year.
Built on a “safety-first” philosophy, the brand formulates products that are paraben-free, sulfate-free, and toxin-free, incorporating ingredients such as oatmeal, biotin, and aloe vera. It also claims to have introduced India’s first FDA-approved oatmeal shampoo for pets, reinforcing its science-backed positioning.
