About Mochatrade
Founded in 2026 by Utkarsh Sinha, Chetan Manda and Parth Maheshwari, Mochatrade is building a platform that allows Indian users to trade perpetual contracts linked to US stock prices using Indian rupees.
The startup is part of Y Combinator’s Spring 2026 batch. The founders previously worked across fintech, product and technology. Sinha previously co-founded Martian Wallet, while Manda was a product executive at Sprinklr and Maheshwari has worked at Adobe and Navi, according to company and founder disclosures.
Mochatrade allows users to fund their accounts through UPI and manage margins and profit and loss in rupees. Its platform offers long and short positions on perpetual contracts linked to US-listed companies such as Nvidia, Tesla and Apple.
The company says its platform is designed for Indian traders who want exposure to US stock price movements without opening a US brokerage account. Its website currently advertises more than 50 US stock tokens, INR-margined contracts and 24/7 trading.
Mochatrade operates in India through ALSD Technologies Private Limited, which is registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit–India (FIU-IND) as a Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider, according to the company and investor disclosures.
The platform is currently in beta. Mochatrade has reported more than 20,000 people on its waitlist, while CoinFund has cited a figure of 25,000. The company plans to open the platform more broadly in the coming weeks.
What’s Next for Mochatrade?
Mochatrade plans to use the fresh capital to develop its trading technology and infrastructure, while also expanding its customer and growth teams. The company currently has 11 full-time employees, with its core team split between New York and Bengaluru.
The startup also plans to add US stock options, additional assets and social trading features. Its longer-term product roadmap includes more US-market-linked contracts and other trading tools, subject to applicable laws, regulatory requirements and the company’s ability to maintain appropriate risk controls.
Mochatrade says it is positioning the platform around active traders who want leveraged exposure to international asset prices rather than conventional ownership of US stocks. The company also highlights INR funding through UPI, rupee-denominated margins and 24/7 trading as part of its product design.
