Bengaluru-based ready-to-cook food maker iD Fresh Food reported a 27.7% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to ₹870 crore in FY26, compared with ₹681 crore in FY25.

The company’s profit before tax and exceptional items rose more than threefold to ₹79 crore from ₹24 crore in the previous financial year, according to reports.

iD Fresh also reported ₹8 crore in other income, taking its total income to ₹879 crore in FY26.

Revenue Growth Led by Ready-to-Cook Products

Manufactured products, including idli and dosa batter and parathas, generated ₹671 crore in FY26 and accounted for around 75% of operating revenue. The remaining revenue came from traded products such as dairy products, chapatis, beverages and frozen fruits.

Total expenditure increased 20.5% to ₹801 crore from ₹665 crore in FY25. Raw material procurement remained the largest expense at ₹394 crore, up 18.3% year-on-year, while employee benefit expenses increased 16% to ₹168 crore.

Despite the increase in expenses, revenue growth helped the company improve its profit before tax and exceptional items. iD Fresh reported EBITDA of ₹111 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 13%. Its ROCE stood at 17.4%.

The financial analysis excludes exceptional items worth ₹713 crore, primarily related to changes in the fair valuation of preference shares and gains from the deconsolidation of a subsidiary. These accounting adjustments are excluded when assessing the underlying operating performance.

Founded in 2005, iD Fresh Food makes ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products including idli and dosa batter, parathas, paneer, curd, chapatis, coffee and other food products. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Haryana and Ajman in the UAE.

iD Fresh Expands Manufacturing and Product Portfolio

iD Fresh has been expanding its manufacturing capacity and product portfolio as it grows across India and international markets.

In March 2026, the company opened an automated manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, which it said doubled its production capacity for batter and parathas. The facility is spread across 40,000 sq ft.

The company is also looking to expand its presence in fresh and convenient food categories while increasing its distribution and manufacturing capabilities. Its FY26 performance follows a strategic investment from Apax Funds announced in January 2026, under which Apax acquired a significant minority stake from existing shareholders. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed by the company.

With revenue approaching ₹900 crore and profit before exceptional items improving sharply, iD Fresh enters its next phase with a focus on expanding its product range and manufacturing capacity while maintaining profitability as the business scales.
