Construction-Tech Startup Fixxly Raises $5.5 Million in Seed Funding

Bengaluru-based construction-tech startup Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in a seed funding round led by AccelFireside Ventures, and Lightspeed India Partners, as it gears up for the commercial launch of its AI-powered building materials delivery platform on September 1.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen its technology platform, expand operations, scale its fulfilment network, and accelerate market expansion.

Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is building a quick commerce platform for construction and home improvement materials, enabling contractors and trade professionals to procure essential supplies in as little as 30 minutes. The platform is designed for electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, civil contractors, interior designers, and homeowners, offering products across categories such as plumbing, electricals, hardware, paints, plywood, power tools, lighting, and safety equipment.

At the core of Fixxly’s platform is an AI-powered inventory and fulfilment engine that uses demand forecasting, real-time inventory visibility, and proximity-based allocation to optimise order fulfilment. Orders are fulfilled through a network of local distribution hubs, helping reduce procurement delays and minimise downtime at construction and renovation sites.

Fixxly aims to digitise India’s highly fragmented building materials supply chain, where procurement still largely depends on neighbourhood distributors, phone calls, and manual ordering. By bringing quick commerce to the construction ecosystem, the startup seeks to improve material availability, pricing transparency, and delivery efficiency for professionals who often lose valuable working hours sourcing supplies.

The company is expected to begin operations in Bengaluru, with Mumbai and Hyderabad also part of its planned rollout as it expands its network across major urban markets.
