BIDSO raises Rs 63 crore in Series A led by Blume Ventures
The startup had previously raised $1.5 million in August 2023 through seed and pre-seed rounds backed by PeerCapital, DeVC, and a group of angel investors.

BIDSO, a toy manufacturing startup, has secured Rs 63 crore (around $6.7 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures.
The round includes Rs 51 crore in equity and Rs 12 crore in venture debt, with participation from existing investors Peer Capital and Sadev Capital, while Alteria Capital provided the venture debt component.
The company said it will use the fresh capital to strengthen product design and manufacturing capabilities, expand its production footprint and capacity, and widen its product portfolio.
Founded in 2022 by Aditya Krishnakumar, Vivek Singhal, and Rahul Agarwal, BIDSO operates a design-led manufacturing platform that works with consumer brands to design, develop, and manufacture customised products at scale.
The startup’s platform covers product design, engineering, licensing, and manufacturing, allowing brands to bring new products to market through a single supply partner. While the company is currently focused on toys, it plans to expand into adjacent consumer categories over time.
Over the past year, BIDSO said it has built global B2B partnerships with major toy brands and secured licences for characters and franchises such as Peppa Pig, Harry Potter, Transformers, and NASA. These partnerships have helped the company broaden its product range and scale its manufacturing operations.
BIDSO said its revenue more than doubled over the past year. According to its financials, the company’s operating revenue rose to Rs 41.25 crore in FY25 from Rs 7.52 crore in FY24, while losses increased to Rs 6.44 crore from Rs 5.67 crore in the previous fiscal year.
The Bengaluru-based startup had previously raised $1.5 million in August 2023 through seed and pre-seed rounds backed by PeerCapital, DeVC, and a group of angel investors. It is also positioning itself around the Make in India opportunity by working to improve manufacturing capacity and supply chain efficiency through a network of SME partners.
