Ashneer Grover Launches Fintech Platform Fund My Staff
The new platform is being launched under Third Unicorn, the venture founded in 2023 by Ashneer Grover and Madhuri Jain Grover.

Former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover has launched Fund My Staff, a new fintech platform designed to help employees access formal credit by allowing their employers to act as loan guarantors. The launch marks the latest venture under Third Unicorn, Grover’s startup studio, following the introduction of healthcare financing platform ZeroPe.
According to the app’s Google Play listing, Fund My Staff aims to address one of India’s biggest credit gaps, access to small-ticket personal loans for salaried employees with limited or no credit history. Instead of relying primarily on an individual’s credit score, the platform evaluates the financial strength and credibility of the employer, enabling eligible employees to secure loans that may otherwise be difficult to obtain through traditional banks or digital lenders.
The platform offers unsecured personal loans with repayment tenures ranging from 3 to 12 months, allowing borrowers to repay through equated monthly instalments (EMIs). Loan onboarding includes Aadhaar and PAN-based KYC, credit bureau verification, and income assessment using the Account Aggregator framework, enabling faster and paperless loan processing.
The loans are being originated by Ash Grove Capital Pvt. Ltd., an RBI-registered non-banking financial company (NBFC) promoted by Grover. By positioning employers as guarantors, Fund My Staff seeks to reduce lending risk while expanding access to formal credit for employees who are often underserved by conventional financial institutions.
The new platform is being launched under Third Unicorn, the venture founded in 2023 by Ashneer Grover and Madhuri Jain Grover. The startup raised $5 million (around ₹40 crore) in its maiden funding round at a valuation of nearly $36 million (around ₹290 crore). The company initially ventured into fantasy sports with CrickPe, which ceased operations in late 2024 following intense competition and regulatory uncertainty in the gaming sector.
Fund My Staff also builds on Grover’s fintech ambitions after the launch of ZeroPe in April 2024, a healthcare financing platform that enables users to access instant medical loans for hospital expenses. Earlier this year, Grover said ZeroPe had achieved product-market fit, crossing 100,000 organic downloads, partnering with over 1,000 hospitals and healthcare providers, and maintaining a 4.6-star rating across Android and iOS platforms.
