STCH, an AI-driven startup in fabric innovation and textile manufacturing, has secured $7 million (about ₹66 crore) in a pre-Series A round led by Omnivore.

The round also saw participation from Kae Capital and WVC.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its AI capabilities, build a fabric R&D lab, deepen manufacturing partnerships, and scale delivery across key global markets.

Founded in 2025 by former Zetwerk executives Narahari Payala and Aseem Chitkara, STCH is a Bengaluru-based AI-native CDMO platform for fashion businesses, focusing on fabric innovation and sourcing.

Its platform uses AI to analyse product images and descriptions to identify fabric specifications such as texture, weight, and finish, and enables recreation through local manufacturing partners across India and Bangladesh.

The company claims it can take fabrics from concept to production in around 45 days and primarily serves brands in the UK and Europe.

STCH operates a network-driven manufacturing model and is building a proprietary database of fabric “recipes” to streamline R&D and reduce production cycles, helping brands improve efficiency and lower sourcing costs.
