In a remarkable debut in the tech world, 16-year-old Indian prodigy Pranjali Awasthi has taken the industry by storm with her innovative AI startup, Delv.AI. The young entrepreneur made her grand entrance during Miami Tech Week, unveiling her brainchild and revealing that she founded the company in January 2022. Since its inception, Delv.AI has successfully secured a staggering $450,000 (equivalent to Rs 3.7 crore) in funding, propelling the company to an approximate valuation of $12 million (Rs 100 crore).

The main mission of Delv.AI, according to its visionary founder, is to aid academics and information seekers in swiftly and efficiently finding specific data amid the vast expanse of online resources. Awasthi credits her incredible journey to the support she received from the accelerator program, a collaboration between On Deck and Village Global.

What makes Pranjali’s story even more inspiring is her hands-on involvement in various facets of Delv.AI, from coding and operations to ensuring excellent customer service. Leading a compact yet effective team, she is a true embodiment of a multifaceted entrepreneur.

Awasthi’s fascination with technology ignited at a young age, fueled by her father’s unwavering dedication to promoting computer science education in schools. This early encouragement set her on a path to start her coding journey at the tender age of seven, laying the foundation for her remarkable ascent in the tech world.

At the age of 11, Pranjali moved to Florida, and this relocation brought her even more opportunities to enroll in computer science classes and competitive math programs. By the time she was 13, she joined an internship program at the research lab of Florida International University, where her entrepreneurial journey began.

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing her high school to go virtual, Pranjali was able to devote approximately 20 hours a week to her internship. During this time, she delved deep into studying machine learning projects, gaining invaluable experience that would later prove instrumental for her startup.

Pranjali’s journey continued to flourish as she joined an AI startup accelerator in Miami, led by none other than Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot of Backend Capital. Under their guidance, she honed her skills and expanded her knowledge of the AI industry.

The beta launch of Delv.AI on Product Hunt was nothing short of exceptional, as it garnered immense success and attention from the tech community and beyond.

Despite her monumental success at a young age, Pranjali Awasthi remains grounded and focused on her responsibilities and her passion for her growing company. She has decided to postpone her college education for the time being, with plans to pursue higher education in the future to acquire the necessary business skills to further drive the success of Delv.AI.

In a world where youth-driven innovation is becoming increasingly influential, Pranjali Awasthi’s remarkable journey stands as a testament to what can be achieved with unwavering determination, a love for technology, and a vision to change the world. With Delv.AI, she’s not only making waves in the tech industry but also inspiring countless others to follow their dreams.
