Hyderabad-based battery tech startup Xbattery has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round led by Bipin Patel Family Office, with participation from Jhaveri Credits.
The fresh capital will accelerate the development of its high-voltage battery management system (BMS) platform, BharatBMS, designed for electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy storage solutions.
The funds will also support team expansion, sourcing of specialised hardware, scaling prototypes, and strengthening partnerships with EV manufacturers.
Founded in 2024 by Satish Reddy, Sonu Mishra, and Varshith Rao, Xbattery develops advanced BMS solutions for EVs and stationary energy storage applications across homes and industrial setups.
BharatBMS monitors battery health, prevents overcharging and overheating, balances cell performance, tracks depletion, and safeguards against potential damage.
