Marketing-tech startup Spike AI, which is developing what it calls the world’s first autonomous marketing intelligence system, has raised $1.9 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Sorin Investments. Co-investors include Principal Venture Partners (Bay Area), GSI, and other strategic backers.
The funds will be used to accelerate the rollout of MAGI, Spike AI’s self-driving growth platform designed to replace fragmented tools and manual decision-making with a unified AI that delivers measurable business outcomes.
Founded in 2024 by Deepesh Kumar and Shrestha Pratik, Spike AI aims to transform marketing orchestration similar to how Salesforce transformed CRM.
MAGI monitors and optimises multiple channels—websites, paid media, SEO, email, and influencer campaigns—identifying bottlenecks and implementing real-time improvements.

The founders describe MAGI as “marketing’s AlphaGo,” offering adaptability, explainability, and 24/7 execution. By streamlining workflows and replacing instinct-driven marketing with AI precision, Spike AI is targeting businesses looking for a modern alternative to legacy systems.
“They aren’t just adding AI to marketing—they’re building an entirely new paradigm,” said Dr. Songyee Yoon, Managing Partner at Principal Venture Partners.
