Clean energy startup HYLENR has secured $3 million in its pre-Series A funding round jointly led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited.
The round also saw additional participation from strategic investors including Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda.
The Hyderabad-based company will utilise the capital to fast-track its transition from pilot phase to commercial launch, strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, and scale its LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reactions) systems globally.
It is eyeing international markets such as the US, Europe, and Japan to deploy its sustainable heat-generation technologies.
HYLENR was founded in 2024 by Siddhartha Durairajan, and is currently helmed by Ram Ramaseshan. The company is building LENR-powered hybrid heat systems designed to replace fossil-based thermal energy across industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, district heating, and clean water desalination. The startup holds two patents—one covering its product architecture and another for its process innovation.

Currently, HYLENR is conducting pilot projects in partnership with government bodies and industrial players to demonstrate the efficacy of its LENR technology. Its product pipeline ranges from 7.2KW units for domestic applications to 1MW systems for large-scale industrial use.
According to the company, recent lab results have shown significant energy gain ratios. The new funds will enable the startup to accelerate product development, expand global reach, and deliver carbon-free, high-yield thermal and electrical energy solutions across various sectors.
