IKEA India has appointed Patrik Antoni as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 2025.
The leadership change follows the departure of Susanne Pulverer, Country Retail Manager & Chief Sustainability Officer, who exits after a 28-year tenure at IKEA, including over eight years leading the India business.
The company aims to streamline operations and align efforts across Ingka Group entities. As CEO, Patrik will work alongside the incoming Country Retail Manager & CSO to drive unified expansion and strengthen IKEA’s omnichannel retail presence in the region.
Founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad in Sweden, IKEA has grown into a global home furnishings leader known for accessible design and sustainability-driven innovation. Patrik, previously Deputy CEO of IKEA India, played a key role in launching the brand’s first store in Hyderabad. Most recently, he served as General Manager of IKEA Russia, overseeing the business through a complex period of transformation.

This leadership transition comes at a time when IKEA India is rapidly scaling its retail and digital footprint. The recruitment process to appoint Pulverer’s successor is underway.
