Fintech platform MobiKwik has announced the elevation of two key leaders, Saurabh Dwivedi as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Dhruv Wadhera as Senior Vice President (SVP), Offline Payments.
The leadership changes come as part of MobiKwik’s broader aim to drive innovation, scale merchant services across India, and integrate AI across its financial and payment platforms.
The company is now sharpening its focus on delivering a seamless and intelligent digital payment experience while supporting its merchant network, especially across Bharat.
Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku, MobiKwik began as a mobile wallet and has since evolved into a full-stack fintech platform offering payments, credit, and insurance services.
Singh, who serves as the company’s CEO, stated, “Saurabh and Dhruv have shown strong leadership in scaling our tech and distribution. These promotions reflect our commitment to building with foresight, innovation, and customer focus.”

Dwivedi, who came on board MobiKwik in August 2023 as SVP of Engineering for Payments, will now take charge as CTO, overseeing engineering across Payments, Financial Services, Core Platform, Infrastructure, and InfoSec. Backed by over 20 years of experience including a significant stint at MakeMyTrip he will lead the company’s AI-focused initiatives, including AI-powered product development, streamlined collections, and improved user experience.
Wadhera, who has led MobiKwik’s offline payments division since June 2023, will expand the company’s merchant-focused offerings. Previously with Zomato in senior roles including VP and Sales Director, he brings significant experience in scaling ground-level operations.
MobiKwik currently serves over 176 million users and 4.6 million merchants across India. In terms of financial performance, the company posted flat revenue of ₹268 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to the same quarter last year. However, for the full fiscal year, revenue rose 33.9% to ₹1,192 crore. It reported a Q4 FY25 loss of ₹56 crore.
