CLR Facility Services, a Pune-headquartered integrated facility management company, has raised $15 million (around ₹125 crore) in funding from British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor.

The funding will fuel CLR’s nationwide expansion, scale its operations, and strengthen its skilling and ESG frameworks. Their key focus will be on setting up vocational training centers in tier-II cities and boosting employment for underserved communities.

Over the next five to seven years, CLR aims to more than double its workforce to 50,000, with increased representation of women and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds.

Founded in Pune by Rajaram Pathak, Gaurav Pathak and Gautam Pathak in 2002, CLR provides a suite of services such as cleaning, engineering support, mechanical upkeep, and production assistance to a wide base of corporate clients.

The company currently operates in nine Indian states, employing over 20,000 blue-collar workers.

CLR is also known for its structured employment model—currently, one in four employees is a woman. Since receiving its first institutional backing in 2018 from First Bridge Investment Managers, the company has steadily grown its footprint and now services over 160 enterprise clients, competing with the likes of BVG India, UDS, and ISS Facility Services in the facility management sector.
