MedVital, a medtech startup focused on advanced skin repair and wound care, has raised ₹8.4 crore in its pre-seed funding round led by Nihar Parikh’s 4point0 Health Ventures.

The round also saw participation from a marquee group of operator-investors, including the founders of Tata 1mg, NephroPlus, SafeExpress, Eye Q Hospital, Hexa Health, and AstroTalk.

The funds will be used to expand MedVital’s product portfolio, strengthen its supply chain, and broaden distribution across tertiary care hospitals, rural clinics, and home-care settings.

The startup also plans to launch liquid chitosan-based dressings and enter dermal and hair regeneration segments, pushing forward its vision of delivering innovative, accessible care solutions.

Co-founded by Dr. Varun Gupta and Tarun Bansal in 2024, MedVital is building India’s first full-stack platform for wound care and minimally invasive aesthetics—an area often overlooked in clinical innovation.

Its flagship device, NoWound™, is a locally manufactured, compact, and digitally enabled Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) system designed to offer precision healing for complex wounds in hospitals, clinics, and home settings.

MedVital aims to bridge the critical care gap in India’s skin health ecosystem by integrating intelligent monitoring, next-gen biomaterials, and affordable medical technology.
