Reefer container shipping startup Citrus Freight has raised ₹2.5 crore in a bridge round, taking its total funding to ₹5.25 crore.
The round saw participation from Caret Capital, Indigram Labs Foundation, and other investors.
The Bengaluru-based company will use the funds to strengthen its team and upgrade its mobile-first logistics platform, focusing on real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and compliance support.
Founded in 2016 by Biplob Barik and Ricky Goyal, Citrus Freight provides digital booking for refrigerated containers and handles customs clearance, surface transport, and temperature monitoring. It specializes in exporting fruits, vegetables, meat, marine products, and flowers.

The platform, which helps Indian exporters reach markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, claims to have cut booking time from 72 hours to 10 minutes and helped clients reduce spoilage and expand reach by 40%.
Over the next 12–24 months, the startup aims to move 1,500 containers and generate ₹45 crore in revenue.
Citrus Freight competes with players like Wiz Freight, Cogoport, and Intercont.
