Rankethon is an Indian online learning platform that provides courses in engineering, management, and computer science. Abhishek Singh, a computer science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Varanasi, India, founded the company.

His vision inspired the venture, as he spent hours as a child in a home-made lab experimenting with various things. This desire to work in a cutting-edge lab, which was his passion, paved the way for the venture. In some ways, Rankethon is a realisation of the dream. He has been running a number of programmes related to this sector at various levels across the country since 2014.

Singh’s path to entrepreneurship began at IIT, where he was actively involved in organising tech events and hackathons. Following graduation, he worked at several tech companies, including Google, where he gained valuable industry experience.

In 2015, Singh decided to pursue his passion for education by establishing Rankethon, which aims to provide high-quality online courses to students in India and around the world.

Its headquarters are in Kharagpur, West Bengal. Rankethon employs 43 people. It is a privately held business.

Since then, the platform has expanded to provide a diverse range of courses, assisting thousands of students in achieving their academic and professional objectives.

Singh has also received numerous awards and accolades for his work in education and entrepreneurship, including being named one of the top ten young entrepreneurs in India by the Economic Times in 2018.

When asked about his future plans, Abhishek stated that he is launching an online programme called HomeRancho in which students will receive complete training in a pre-designed portable lab at their doorstep in a completely practical manner. Currently, stalwarts in online education are doing at a theoretical level, but we want to give students in this segment complete practical exposure; we are currently raising funds to implement this at a higher level.

Rankethon’s VISION – We envision a robust employment ecosystem in which every youth is either creating jobs or is capable of finding work. We envision an India full of responsible leaders who will write the story of India’s development.

This comprehensive programme was curated and developed with the assistance of top educators from the best institutes and companies. Experts have decades of experience providing students with high-quality learning and services in a variety of fields such as product management, MBA, math, mechanical, B.COM, civil engineering, and so on.
The best thing about Rankethon is that no long-term commitments are required. Just pay for the services you actually use. Despite the fact that it has never happened, they offer a money-back guarantee. if our work did not meet your standards.

He is also the Founder & President at Jankhoj NGO. Overall, Singh’s journey to found Rankethon emphasizes the importance of following one’s passions and leveraging one’s skills and experiences to make a positive difference in the world.
