Mumbai-based startup You Care Lifestyle (YCL) has successfully raised $1 million in a funding round co-led by its co-founders Luke Coutinho and Narendra Firodia.

The funds will be used to strengthen YCL’s product verification processes and invest in emerging clean brands, helping them scale and build trust among health-conscious consumers.

Founded in 2025, YCL is an independent verification entity dedicated to addressing key challenges in the health and wellness sector, including mislabeling and misinformation.

The platform specializes in verifying the safety, purity, and quality of various products, including groceries, food, nutraceuticals, beauty and personal care items, pathology labs, and other lifestyle-related offerings.

Through its third-party verification system, YCL empowers consumers to make informed decisions while encouraging brands to maintain high quality and transparency standards.

YCL has already signed 37 products for verification, with 24 successfully passing third-party lab tests. These verified products now carry the ‘Pink Tiger Stamp,’ signifying adherence to YCL’s rigorous quality and safety benchmarks.

By the end of 2025, YCL aims to verify 90-100 brands, with a primary focus on food and cosmetics.
