In a recent post on X, Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder of Ola Electric, revealed that the company now holds a commanding 49% share of India’s electric two-wheeler market.

This positions Ola Electric well ahead of its competitors, with TVS Electric at 15%, Ather at 12%, and Bajaj at 8%. The data, sourced from Vahan, underscores Ola Electric’s dominance in the rapidly growing electric two-wheeler sector.

Ola Electric has solidified its position as the market leader in the electric two-wheeler segment. Aggarwal’s announcement highlights the company’s successful strategy in capturing nearly half of the market, reflecting strong consumer demand and effective market penetration.

Beyond its success in the electric vehicle space, Bhavish Aggarwal has recently ventured into a new domain with the launch of Krutrim AI & Cloud. This initiative aims to provide users with a personalized assistant designed to streamline both personal and professional tasks, leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and convenience.

In line with this new venture, Ola has permanently transitioned its cloud infrastructure from Microsoft Azure to its proprietary Krutrim Cloud. In his post on X, Aggarwal announced this strategic move, encouraging others to adopt Indian technology solutions and enhance self-reliance in digital infrastructure.

Done.

As committed, Azure spend is now 0. All workloads on @Krutrim cloud. Within a week.

Will help others also exit and move to our own Indian stack. More than 2500 devs have signed up!! Will be working with everyone to get onto our cloud services over coming weeks. 🇮🇳💪🏼👍🏼 pic.twitter.com/2JR4Ykw0IN

Ola Electric’s impressive market share and the ambitious launch of Krutrim AI & Cloud demonstrate Bhavish Aggarwal’s vision for innovation and leadership in both the electric vehicle and technology sectors. As Ola continues to expand its influence and capabilities, it remains a key player to watch in India’s evolving tech and transportation landscape.
